My primary focus is development of open source tools which aid people in creative expression. I use the open source model because I want to create things that people can learn from, modify for their own needs, and hopefully contribute back to (therefore providing for the larger community). I like to work with audio, video and physical interfaces (micro-controllers and sensors). Most of my work has been with audio, sensors and micro-controllers.

While I generally want my tools to work on as many platforms as possible, my main platform is Linux and I am especially interested in making applications which make Linux more attractive for artists.
